First and foremost, Profiles are not Presets. When you click on a preset, you will get an image that has been fully edited or, at least, nearly fully edited. Profiles, on the other hand, are a base that you build on. A profile should be applied to an unedited file, and when it is, it will change the tone, color, and contrast of the photo – you will then do your edits on top of that. Profiles can help you get a unique look to your photography.
