Fully Illustrated eBook
With your purchase of this course, you'll get this fully illustrated eBook, The Art of Masking!
With the October 2025 Update, Adobe added Snow as an option for Landscape Masking. In this section, is that video.
Before starting the course, watch these videos, then download the eBook and the Raw files I used in during the course.
I had a request to have all of the videos in this course available in a single download. They're available in this section in a zip file. Be aware that the file is large and will take a long time to download. If your computer is timing out during the download, you'll have to download the videos individually. There is a download link under each video.
In this section are all of the tutorials for each of the masks available in Lightroom.
In this section, I cover topics such as adding to and subtracting from a mask, intersecting masks, copying and pasting, and duplicating masks.
In this section I cover how to work with the mask overlay.
Here I do some real world edit so you can see how I fit masking into my workflow.
“Seeing real-world edits—landscape, wildlife, portraits—helped me apply masking to photos I shoot every day.”
“The section on color and luminance ranges taught me new masks I never knew existed. Now I target edits precisely.”
“Getting the illustrated eBook alongside the videos lets me learn visually and follow along smoothly.”
You've got questions. I've got answers.
Yes, I cover masking in my other Lightroom courses, but many people asked for a course focused entirely on masking. So I created all-new videos for this one and, where possible, went into more depth. I also included a fully illustrated eBook to make it even more helpful.
Sorry, but no. The eBook is only available with the course.
You’ll get 25 step-by-step videos you can stream or download. If you stream them, you’ll earn a course completion certificate. You’ll also get all the files I use in the videos, so you can follow along at home, plus a fully illustrated eBook on masking in Lightroom..
I'm using Lightroom Classic version 14.4 in the videos. In the course, I have a video explaining how to take what I teach for Lightroom Classic and apply it to Lightroom CC and Lightroom Mobile. If, down the line, Adobe makes significant changes to masking in Lightroom, I will update the course accordingly. I will guarantee updates for at least two years from the course release date.
