How To Clean A Camera’s Sensor

I found this video on YouTube on how to clean the sensor on a DSLR camera and found it to be quite helpful. Forever… maybe longer, I’ve been cleaning the sensors of my cameras using the wet method with mixed results. Recently, I’ve been doing cleanings similar to what’s demonstrated in the video with excellent results and I found it to be much easier since it’s dry — no cleaning fluids. In the past, when I used cleaning fluid, I often mucked up the sensor more than it was when I started.

Development of Aperture has halted, and is instead shifting to the editing tools in OS X Yosemite’s Photos app, Apple has announced. Photos — which will actually miss the launch of Yosemite, and ship in early 2015 — will include an option to import Aperture libraries. Compatibility updates should let Aperture run in Yosemite, but no further support is planned. Apple and Adobe are cooperating to help some users migrate to Lightroom.
